Juliu River

The author Qi Bangyuan's father, Qi Shiying - a passionate youth in Germany in the early years of the Republic of China, and a reformer in Northeast China before the September 18th Incident. Both political and innovative ideas were frozen here, and the modern misery in the Northeast began and eventually spread to the whole of China. The author's life is just the epitome of the ups and downs of the 20th century.

At the age of over 80, the author took four years to write "Ju Liu He". With meticulous and penetrating writing, it starts from the "Ju Liu River" outside the Great Wall and ends at the "Yakouhai" in Hengchun at the southern tip of Taiwan. It describes the changes of the great era that spanned a hundred years and spanned both sides of the Taiwan Strait.
