Six Chapters of a Floating Life

This book collects four kinds of essays from the Qing Dynasty, namely Maoxiang's "Yingmei Temple Reminiscences", Shen Fu's "Six Chapters of a Floating Life", Chen Peizhi's "Xiangwanlou Reminiscences" and Jiang Tan's "Autumn Lantern Reminiscences". The four women involved in these four kinds of books are all very talented people, but each has its own personality and each has its own encounters. The authors of the four books all express the theme of mourning in a lyrical style, among which the famous mourning for Dong Xiaowan by Mao Xiang.
