Wind-Up Bird Chronicle

This book is the largest novel by Japanese novelist Haruki Murakami. The protagonist is an ordinary urban youth. His wife left without saying goodbye, and wrote a letter saying that he has another new love. However, after tracking the protagonist, he found a huge conspiracy of evil forces hidden behind the incident. In the end, the protagonist rescued his wife and killed the black hand after going through hardships.
