"Jing Shi Tong Yan" is a collection of vernacular novels by Feng Menglong, a writer in the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties. It was first published in the fourth year of Tianqi (1624). Later, under the direct influence of "Sanyan", Ling Yuchu wrote two collections of short stories: "Surprise at the First Moment" and "Surprise at the Second Moment", which are also called "Sanyan Erpai".

"Jing Shi Tong Yan" has 40 volumes, each volume is a short story, which contains the scripts of the Song and Yuan Dynasties and the imitation scripts of the Ming Dynasty. accounted for nearly half.

In terms of themes, love descriptions account for a large proportion of "Warning the World", including "Du Shiniang Sinks the Treasure Chest Angry", "Yutang Spring Falls, It's Hard to Meet Her Husband", among which "Du Shiniang Sinks the Treasure Chest Angry" in "Both ideological and artistic aspects represent the highest achievement of imitation scripts in the Ming Dynasty." And "Yu Boya throwing the piano to thank bosom friend" and "Li Banxian Drunk Grass Scaring the Barbarian Book" all portrayed the image of ancient intellectuals.
