Hua Mulan

The story in this book is adapted from "The Song of Mulan". It tells the story of Hua Mulan's woman disguised as a man to join the army in place of her father. The pictures have a very cinematic feel, sometimes grandly narrating war scenes, sometimes warm and touching, vividly recreating Hua Mulan's bravery and gentleness, and telling an inspirational story of a girl's self-identity, self-achievement, and self-transcendence. There are two large-scale pictures in the book, which fully demonstrate Hua Mulan's heroic pursuit of the enemy and the serious disasters brought about by the war.
